As a life-time Film lover I have always been interested in all areas and aspects of the Film and Audiovisual industry. The ability to use images to construct a narrative has never ceased to fascinate me, and being a part of that process has always been a source of joy.
During my student years, earning a Bachelor's degree in Cinematography at the Universidad del Cine, I gravitated towards the area of Post-Production. I began by working in a Film Developing Laboratory and then moved to TV Editing in my natal hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina; but i have been working exclusively in VFX since my relocation to London in 2011, after studing at Escapes Studios the Compositing for Production Course. Since then, I have worked in Madrid and Amsterdam, and am currently based in Italy.
VFX teaches you many things: I have learned to be a strong team player and a team leader when necessary, I have learned to meet impossible deadlines and at the same time enjoy the sometimes hectic but always creative process of Visual effects; that the biggest source of knowledge comes from those working around you and that our work is not a race but a persistent marathon.
The skills and experience I've earned working on Feature films have helped me with my on-going personal work, expanding my knowledge of the language of images and the software necessary to manipulate them.
The most important thing I've learned so far while working in the Film Industry is that all it asks of you is constant, unconditional love for your trade.
